PREVENT Single Point of Contact (SPoC)

Leaders and managers have defined responsibilities under the PREVENT Duty. They must ensure that management and co-ordination arrangements are in place to share information across the relevant curriculum areas, with a single point of contact (SPoC) for operational delivery of PREVENT-related activity.

The SPoC is required to ensure that the college actively engages in regular data sharing both within the college and with other partners, as appropriate, including police, local authority, other college SPoCs, and the Regional DfE-appointed PREVENT Co-ordinator.
